  The angle doesn’t work for me. There’s no eye contact.

  This is a nice picture i think. Yes there is no eye contact but this not always possible with some types of wildlife as they are generally trying to get away from you

  I think you have positioned the Coypu correctly in the frame and the exposure looks good to me. Only thing that is slightly distracting is the reeds (you could cheat and take these out with photoshop:-) ) but having said that its a nice shot.

  Yep I agree, about the eyes… but this was a wild one.

  I have to say I completely messed up on that day. I though I had the camera on speed priority, but I had it on fully manual.
  I had shot from the front while it was swiming towards me, but all the setting were wrong or the photo out of focus :evil: Silly me :x

  As for the reeds, I am afraid I do not have the skills…
