GrahamBParticipant
I’m probably gonna get this moved.
I’m trying to finish this off but i cannot get it right.
Has anyone got any tips. I’m posting in Landscape becuase it’s
the sky thats wrecking my head. I know you guys can help.
ThanksAliParticipantHey Graham, what’s bugging you about the sky and what do you want to do with it?
GrahamBParticipantThere is something off about the detail in the sky.
It looks kinda flat but i keep seeing hotspots.
Maybe it’s just not that good a shot to start with.jb7ParticipantJay KingParticipantI think it would look nice as a landscape… with some of the sky taken out?
Have you tried?
ExpresbroParticipantHey Graham? Has nobody told you yet it’s Spring??!! hehehehe!!

Were you talking to me just there.
I thought your were talking to me but then you said lighten up. :?ExpresbroParticipantGrahamBParticipantOk I had to Google that one Robbie.
But seriously, I was out on Tuesday night for a few hours just around Leixlip.
I have some shots that I am in the middle of processing so I will try and post some
colour tomorrow.andy mcinroyParticipantMoved to documetary? What on earth?
Thats a sky and a canal and trees right?
You obviously considered your post carefully and what you hoped to gain from the feedback.Anyway, I’m sure the landscape guys will find it anyway. Perhaps just crop it a bit . How was it taken? Can you recover some detail from the RAW file?
Andy
GrahamBParticipantAndy, in terms of EXIF it’s
F/Stop f/4
Exposure time 1/13 sec
ISO – 200
Focal Lenght 17mm
Metering Mode – PatternI do still have the original un edited raw ( naturally ) so I am going to have to revisit this one.
Alan RossiterParticipantIf you isolated the sky and brought down the tone using levels with some burn it may bring the foreground more into the feature. It depends on what you want from the photo. I like it as it is but I like to play!
