    Hi guys
    Went to Glendalough with a friend who has a bit of experience in photography. She gave me some hints and that so here some of my snaps. My first time heading out somewhere with the intension on taking pics. be nice :oops:

    HI THERE COOL PICS CUD U HELP ME PLS..AM NEW TO THIS.. HOW DO I GET MY PICS TO SHOW UNDER MY QUOTE LIKE YOURS ..WHEN I ADD MY PICS TO CONTEXT THEY COME OUT IN A LITTLE BOX WHICH SAYS CLICK ON TO ENLARGE ..HOW DO I REMEDY THIS

    Hi, Munky, I like the sense of serenity in the last one. It’s easy to see what St Kevin saw in the place.

    Hi and welcome Munky… The first image is ruined from the flare from the sun at the top. this was caused by the camera looking up into the sun, I think if you had have been on the other side of the stream/waterfall looking away from the sun it would defo have improved it. You’ve created a good composition and well done on the long expsoure too. I love that kinda plastic water look. If you have a lens hood use it.

    The second one I quite like. If you have Photoshop or other, I think you could get some more saturation from that sky.

    The third one is a nice shot too. But it’s a little let down by shooting into the sun and the flare.

    If you don’t have a filter kit I’d suggest you get one. A Neutral Density Graduated filter will help your landscape shots immensely. Look at Cokin filters as a good starting point.
