  Nice composition Colin. Often difficult to get interesting
  horse shots – a bit like swans really – but I quite like
  this one, intruding hoof included. I’ve noticed with a few
  of your images though that your greens seems unnaturally
  oversaturated, which is a bit of a pity. The green in this
  one is almost flourescent and doesn’t really help.

  I think I gotta work on my editing of photos anyway, thanks for the pointer, I’ll keep it in mind. Hopefully you’ll see an improvement soon :)

  This one does look odd. I think Rob has probably nailed it.

  As for interest … horses are now added to my list with swans, elephants and rhinos. Easy to shoot, hard to make interesting. What I do with ele’s and rhinos … b/w, landscape with them in it, animal interaction and close ups. I was shooting some wild ponies over the last few days and damn, it was hard getting something interesting.

  I think I might start taking some more photos of horses from now on, even the Pieballs roaming the fields behind our local estates. :)
  I didn’t really think much of that shot until I put it on-screen, somethin caught my eye about it though, cant quite put my finger on it?
