Anyone out there have any guide times for processing Ilford Delta 3200 with Rodinal Special fine grain developer? I’ve dont a quick bit o’ googling but to no avail.

Normally i love the grain in Delta 3200, but would occasionally like to be able to tame it and still shoot at 3200.

    any ideas?

The Massive Dev Chart is usually a good place to start looking but I’ve just had a quick look there and the particular combination you’re looking at isn’t listed there :( This could mean that it’s (a) not advisable or (b) simply never been used before.

I’m not familiar with that combination but I know Gunns use Rodinal Special and you could call in there and talk to them.

Let us know if you do find out.

Select Studional on the Massive Development Chart and you will see some developing info for your combination, but it is for an ASA of 1250. Studional is the North American name for Rodinal Special.

I have developed Delta 3200 in Tmax, so if thats any use to you, let me know and I will check my notes.
