This is the last Caracara post (I think).
I am really happy with this shot. It’s my favorite of the set.
First I thought is was no good, partly because the bird was almost leaving the frame on the left.
But I managed to save ithe shot by cropping a lot on the right.
I wonder if it could be even better with some selective level adjustment to bring out more detail in the birdie (that’s where I would use a mask, right?)?

The backround really is spectacular and the bird looks really well exposed as well. You really make this look too damn easy…and having tried even getting simple in flight shots of Herons at the zoo I know it’s anything but.
