Couple of birds from last night

  Hi all, out for a couple of hours at annagassan last night and couldn’t get near a thing! The tide was miles out, so all the wading birds went with it. :roll:
  Anyway, just sat back into the car and this stonechat (I think?) landed on a fence post near me.

  

  2 minutes later, what looks like a wagtail to me landed on a sign post… Again taken from the car.

  

  If anyone can confirm these for me I’d appreciate it! C + C also most welcome. That second one might look a bit soft? I might reprocess.

  You’re ID’s are bang on. That’s a male Stonechat. Lovely little bird. Have never gotten close enough for a good shot in the wild. The second is a Pied Wagtail.

  That Stonechat is a good shot, glows in the evening light :wink:
