Sweet. Very nice choice with the crop. How sharp did the head/eye detail come out?

Cheers Aidan, thanks for looking. Head detail is pretty good (must post
a 100% crop) though the eye itself is in shadow which is a little
unfortunate. Ah well, can’t have everything…

So painfully true! Maybe a selective tweak might do the trick?

This one is about the feathers for me. Kinda like the really cool Caracal shot that was posted recently. Super photo of the bird in action with an attractive background. Lots of detail, a cool crop and importantly, an angle we don’t usually see.

This is fab Rob, looks like the lighting conditions really worked in your favour. Spectacular detail and lovely composition. Your work keeps getting better and better. Super as usual. :)

High praise indeed Ali. Thank you so much.

Btw, I saw your post yesterday about jetskiing, but forgot
all about it then. Shame too: I was planning on sitting behind
my tinted windows and running off a few clandestine shots of
you in a wetsuit to post on the forum…

I can see it now…. a tailor-made pin-stripe with Ali’s best pout going on above a woven silk tie in red to match her lips, and drips falling on the shower floor.

Like the seagull shot by the way. I hope your Rita had her camera too?
