Polaroid Land Camera Automatic Series

Picked up a Polaroid Land Camera Automatic 230 last week in an antiques shop.

Ordered a battery online and took a few tests shots today.

    Nothing too special so far…

…but I was wondering if anyone else shoots with a camera from this series? If so, let us see your “automatic” Polaroids.

Edited to add: I realize this is not a “Low Fidelity” camera but I think this group is probably the best place for such a discussion.

Nice quality to the image, and its a very fine antique.

Nice Dave. I’d imagine people are quite scared of such cameras. I had a similar one, a polaroid model 150 land camera – but i harvested the shutter off it for a 16×12″ pinhole camera.
The shutter on these yokes have a nice finger wheel rotating aperature feature (cool for mounting multiple pinholes).

I used a Canon Digital Rebel (aka 300D) and a Canon 50mm f1.8 to take the photo.
