  Hmm…
  looks like Sonchus Arvensis to me,
  though I didn’t think it bloomed until July or August-

  Is this from this year?

  Could maybe do with a little more contrast?
  And maybe a bit of a crop?
  And maybe a slightly less cowardly beastie…

  Global warming, its about a month early I reckon, I tried the beast with a bit of bread but it wouldn’t play.

  You are probably right about the crop, although I couldn’t make up my mind and yes the contrast needs a boost.
