Microlite…or paraglider

I’ve had this for about 3 weeks. It’s nothing special but I keep coming back to it for some reason. I’m not sure if it’s a microlite or a paraglider, maybe someone could verify. I was going to put it into landscapes but I remembered the manmade rule, so here it is.

    C&C welcome.

nice picture- gives the impression that you’re up there with him-

I don’t know what it is,
but it looks like a microlite of sorts-
or maybe a hanglider with a big fan strapped behind-

    Lovely colours, nicely composed-

I really like this, great feeling of space and the microlight is so minimal that it sticks out a mile….if that makes sense :D

Thanks folks for the reply. Yup – it’s a Microlite.

I’d love to say that this was taken while hanging from the wing of a biplane somewhere over the Med but no, it was taken in a place that is actually slightly below sea level in south Wexford. I was creeping up on an egret when I heard someone mowing a lawn. I never thought of looking up until I caught this shot. Composition was accidental and focus was slightly off on the microlite but I can get away with it.

Noely – I hear ya brother, yeah! Minimalism in a big world.
