Don’t tend to shoot much macro/close-up photographs.
More to do with a lack of imagination when it comes to subject matter really.

    Anyhow, comments etc… are welcome.

    Thanks

    Nice format Mark-

The shallow depth of field suits it-
as its enlarged more, the sharp areas will get even smaller,
so the contrasts of tiny areas of detail with the larger oof areas should work really well-

I like the format Mark but I find it lacks punch…..maybe if the centre of the bud was sharper
    “Wow…..I just criticised the Gaffer!”…… :D

I’m with Joseph on this one. I quite like the
format. 5×4 close as dammit isn’t it? (insert several smileys here)

I wonder what this might look like in colour, as I’m sure you do yourself Mark (more smileys)

    Wow Mark!

The black and white was interesting and well composed.

The color makes it beautiful and artistic too!

    Keep it in color.

I’m with Sharon on this one Mark. The colour packs a lot
more punch than the mono version. And in case you were
wondering what colour it is, it’s mostly green ;)
