    Gerard,

I don’t know what others might say, but that Chopper shot is absolutely
stunning. Beautifully composed image, sharp and contrasty, plenty of drama.
I love it. It just needs about a quarter of a degree ccw rotation to turn
that horizon into a razor! Simply Brilliant.

I like the Barrier Reef shots too, but I’d be tempted to post them separately
from this one as they are a completely different type of shot.
    Very nice work indeed.

Cheers – I know what you mean about them looking very different – the processing on the reef shots was a bit different alright. The reason I posted them all together though was that they were from the same trip – the rest of the shots were taken from that chopper in the first. Your right about it being a fraction off-kilt too. I had checked that but managed to miss it so cheers for pointing that out. Thanks again for checking and commenting.

    Rob’s right about the chopper-
    great shot-

Though I’d get rid of the little bit of structure on the right-

    Looks like a great trip-

Thanks for checking – I hadn’t seen that crop but your right it would make it work better. Trip was fantastic – cant wait to go again to be honest – also have a stack of Bahrain shots to process first though :)

Agree with every one else on the chopper shot. the others look like you had a rather thick perspex filter going on.

Not quite but thanks for checking. They do look a bit less vibrant and saturated in IE than they did in photoshop and the windows folder view too – so I will have to account for that more in future. Thanks for checking and commenting.

I’m using Safari. Should be OK so long as the file has been tagged with the Adobe colour space.

I am pretty sure they are – but I checked them again last night and there is definitely a difference between viewing them in the windows xp folder view/slideshow and then opening the file in internet explorer.

I would say there is about a 5-10% decrease in saturation/vibrancy. I will re-check the colourspace later as I am on a work pc at the moment – I would be pretty sure they are in the one called something like adobesrgb-1998.

Great shots Gerard, chopper is fantastic. I would agree with spliting up the reef shots from the chopper one.

    I can’t see any photo.
I opened the links and glad that I did.
    The chopper is perfect!
I like the Port Douglas but I would crop 1/3 of the water…..
