Hi United, I’m not buying anything, but I’d be interested where do you get these stuff in near new condition without boxes? Just to protect the interest of the users of the site, could you share with us if you are a dealer or a private person.

Is the serial number registered with Nikon?

i am just selling this for a friend who bought it and then decided to go for the D2XS. The serial number has been registered with Nikon and as far as i know there is still 10 months warranty left. Although he hasn’t kept the box he has the original receipt as proof of purchase.

I’m sorry if I was offensive. It’s all because of the number of fraudulent ads make me paranoid. I apologize again.

Just like to state that we’ve had no fraudulent ads on PI to date.

I know that PI has been a very safe place, mainly due to the diligent attention of Mark and the other mods, but all the Consumer Advice organisations state quite categorically that you should ask serious questions of sellers on the net. So don’t apologise, Randomway, questions of sellers are the only way to minimise problems when purchasing in this way.

Thanks for the response united4me, although as a Leeds supporter your nickname would make me paranoid anyway :) :) :) :)
