FreeAndPhotographyIrelandParticipant
All these are from saturday, i turned up not long before they were finishing but got a few anyway, light and colours were great which makes a change..
More from the weekend on http://www.thetrueview.com and my flickr…all comments welcomed..
AliParticipant:shock: Excellent set – seen a load of street performers lately and they really do earn their money. First one is exceptional, timing is spot on and perfectly sharp :)
Madra RuaParticipantDeadly! Especially #1 for obvious reasons.
Great dynamic, great sharpness, great colours, great DOF –I love the way your man looks at the ground, frozen in time.
He seems to be wondering whether his face is going to meet the bricks or not :wink:mgstParticipantDenverDollParticipantThese are wonderful!
Very well executed. You it all right!!!
The first is my favorite, I just like the composition the best. It has the most interesting action.
Well done!
Shar
LoGillParticipantDid you cross-process the first one.. it has a different style that makes it stand out from the others, I like the heavy vignette .. Very nciely executed shots…
I really enjoyed looking though your site… you’ve really made Dublin look fantastic – Great stuff
L
jlangParticipantThese are really great lively images. Well taken shots, despite the time of day, but your processing is fantastic (or at least I’m guessing that the out-of-camera images didn’t quite look like these?!)
randomwayMemberI like the first one, I guess you used flash on it. Maybe the guy in the brazilian t-shirt on the right edge could stand a bit closer to the action and less on the edge of the frame. Nice set of photos.
FreeAndPhotographyIrelandParticipantThanks everyone for the comments, Lorraine – There is no cross processing, just some shadow tweaks and added the vignette in Lightroom..
jlang – The rest of the images are basically untouched, just usual levels + sharpening in PS.
randomway – No flash used, believe it or not there was a great blast of light, something not seen around Dublin for a while and I agree about the guy on the right, its a pity the three in the background were not better positioned against the arch in the background but the moment wasnt really there to ask them to move.
Thanks again for taking the time..
FlipflipParticipantFirst one is without a doubt the best of the lot so fairplay there.
Great set of shots going on here though. Good freeze frame action.
FreeAndPhotographyIrelandParticipantRavenAshMemberExpresbroParticipantMissed these in the general rush of PI …
Just wanted to say I really like these shots..and bump them back up in case anyone else missed them. Really sharp action street shots.
Excellent!!
mylesrantsParticipantfantastic clarity
think a slightly slower shutter speed would have captured movement
what lens is giving up the colours ?
richiehatchMemberI missed these too…! Really great shots especially the first one…!
