    I think the contrast of the buildings and the mussel trawler makes this one interesting.

    I think its maybe cropped a bit tight, Alan-
    it looks like it was shot close to where you shot the Purple and Gold
    (hurling abuse) one-

    Reflections always add to a shot like this-
    How come you chopped the boat at the waterline?

    It seems a bit too punchy too,
    maybe a little less saturation and contrast?

    and I’m sure you will be back again-
    and maybe in different weathers-
    Good spot for a shot-

    Thanks for the reply Joseph. I think the reason for the crop will be evident in the original below and I thought it brought the varying buildings in more. The tight crop (left and right) was a forethought…maybe not one of the better thoughts but a trial and error.

    The day was sunny to downpour – this was the inbetween dull shot so I had to push it a bit. I liked the contrast and I had pulled the saturation back but decided against it (again, see the original). It is definately a return mark on a better day. Thanks for the pointers! It all helps.
