Anyone know of anywhere in Dublin I can go to stock up on 120m film?!

    Cheers!

Gunns on Wexford Street have the best selection I think.

Thanks fintan… And I just got a mail from the Camera Centre, on Grafton St – they also sell them… starting at around ?7.99

Both places quite near where I work! Guess a lot of camera shops would sell them then!?

    Thanks again…

Those Grafton st prices seem a bit expensive as you would expect from Grafton St. I would just buy one or two rolls in Gunns and get a stock from 7day shop. Is it B&W or Colour you need.

    i think i paid 2.50 in gunns for acros B&W 120

so 8 euro is mad money

Thanks for the input guys… I’ve never bought a roll of it before so not sure how much I should be paying!

Eddie, I’m gonna get B&W and colour rolls… maybe one of each to start – then stock up on a bit of both maybe?! See which of the two I prefer. Not doing anything pro just trying things out and having a bit of fun… :)

    Another silly question…

I’m guessing that the likes of Gunns or Conn’s develop the 120mm film too…!? Or are there any specialist places that do that!?

I am such a n00b at anything film wise… the last thing I developed was a flu. Couldn’t even do that right…

They both do processing and each do good quality work. I am not sure on cost but a develop and scan service might be your best option. Johnny Mc Millan mentioned before he uses Cons and was happy with the result.

Hi jay, its getting harder and harder to get good film processing I would use this company from time to time. They have a nice feature in that they will store your images digitally for a time so if you need prints you dont need to send the negative back.

    Try this link. http://www.peak-imaging.co.uk/

Hmmmm. I bought a Holga camera on hols in Japan recently which uses the 120 film. Took a roll of it whilst there and left it into the Camera Exchange when I got back. They did it in one hour for me ( ?15.99 for 12 shots!!!! I nearly fell over!).

Think I’ll give the peak-imaging.co.uk a go, thanks for the recommendation wjklewis!

If you want the cheapest 120 dev….just go to Conns and drop it in there, buy yourself a flatbed/neg scanner and then the negs will only cost 3.50 for a few days dev only or 5 euro for an hour…

    Cheers guys…

that’s just what I’ve done Johnny! In the last 3 minutes I’ve bought a CanoScan 8600F for ?200 inc delivery Pixmania…

I’ve been handing my rolls into Gunns as they are literally around the corner from me… 4.50 a roll, next day colour… Think the Ilford HP5’s have to be sent off though?
