Pitman Printer??

One of my photographs is currently in a presentation in Kilmore Quay. Unfortunately I was unable to attend and this was officially opened by well known photographer Tony Tang. My mother rang to say I’d got second place but she mentioned a recommendation by Tony. He suggested getting a Pitman printer to increase longevity of images.
I’ve done a brief trawl of Google but I’m not coming up with any results to say “Here’s a Pitman Printer”. Can this be a case of Chinese Whispers and this was mixed up in conversation or is there such thing??? Seemingly it isn’t that expensive (subjective!). Any thoughts?

Afaik, Pitman offer Pre-press solutions for the commercial printing, newspaper sector.
Not sure what he was suggesting there…. :shock:If you want longevity stick to something like Epson Ultrachrome.
