This one was just experimental, any thoughts on improvement would be awesome :D
Not sure how to improve it because I don’t quite get it to start with.
Seeing as you said “awesome” and “any”, then how about moving the division line to the right so there’s more of the textured thingy and less of the blurry wotsit?
i like this shot quite much! I’d leave the division line exactly where is. It reminds me of some country flag. Well, good compo, good colors, good DOF

Madra Rua your comment was totally sarcastic and in no productive or helpful, you basically insulted her. If i was a moderator i’d give you a warning. there’s no need for that sort of response, it contributes nothing. she’s only beginning and it’s that kind of response that can deeply upset people and put them off continuing and learning. Your shots are great and you’re a really good photographer but please don’t turn into an elitist who sees fit to insult people rather than offering any helpful advice. if you don’t like something just say it straight out. there’s no need for sarcasm, it’s just childish.
