Just been playing around with my new arrival, Canon’s 30D, very impressed so far !
With this shot, I’m a little disappointed I chopped off his chin, so chopped his crown off to compensate.
Does the PP make him look dirty ?
I like this type of Post Processing on a black and white, I have seen it before and wondered, how did they do that. Any chance of giving a rundown on how you did it.. ?
I like it, good DOF, Eyes sharp… If I produced this I would call it a keeper !!

JohnThanks mate, I think there is something about the shadow on the left handside of his face thats putting it off ? There is soemthing there and its wrekcing my brain but can’t figure it out !

processing is a bit too much for to be honest Paddy.
good capture none the less.
I quite like this, its quite an impact shot. Personally as you have chopped the chin off I like it with the forehead chopped off a bit more.
