Sigma 1.4x EX DG APO Tele Converter– ERROR

  Canon 30D camera—

  Error 01 –‘communications between the camera and lens is faulty. clean the lens contacts’

  I only got this 1.4X two weeks ago, in was working yesterday

  How do I clean contacts on a lens, or should i sent it back (got it from http://www.sigma4less.com)
