Poc ar Buile

I met this guy in Co. Leitrim last weekend.
He was very suspicious of me and kept snorting to warn the rest of his herd.
Brave man Hauke..cos he doesn’t look to impressed with having his photo taken… :wink:
I like the shot..it has a real feel of the wild about it.
Must get his address off you and pay him a visit…hehehe!! Myself and the family are heading up to Leitrim for the weekend. Apparently there’s a big music Feis there as well. Don’t suppose you’re heading to that Hauke?

There was whole herd of them and I got talking with the breeder for awhile.
I took the road that leads all around the mountain and took about 200 shots. Great views!!I was in Drumshanbo for the summer school and festival last weekend.
It was great craic. We played till 5 or so.There are a number of other festivals on in the area over next few weeks,
including the Carolan summer school in Keadue.I won’t be playing any music for a while, or take photos, for that matter.
I got hit by a car yesterday cycling to work and my left wrist is broken.
I think I also have a slight whiplash…will have to go back the doc later.Get well soon buddy. I’m sure the camera will get an outing (hey, isn’t the shutter button on the right side??)

As far as I know Drumshambo is where the brother in law has the house where we’ll be staying. It’s a pity now you wont be up there. Could have met up for a pint and some craic. Anyweay..take care of that wrist nand get shooting again soon.

That’s terrible-
the music, I can understand,
but you can always photograph something else-
although probably not from as far away as usual-You must have thousands of pics to sort through too-
