Did I start a trend of Pier fishing shots :lol: Nice photo Robbie. did you use fill flash on it,or was it dodge and burn?
Funny you should ask that…cos when we saw the guys fishing off the pier we were talking about your shot… :D
It’s fill flash John…I’m not great with the dodge and burn thing..and anyway..was way to dark for that… :D

You’d have to feel sorry for the poor bugger though. Why didn’t you introduce him to the world of photography. Some even say it’s possible to catch a few keepers on occasion :wink:

Well he did seem quite interested in what we were doing…so maybe he already is a camera lover. But I reckon Graham got it right when he alluded to the fact that he fishes to get away from it all…he looked fairly happy stood there..I think the fishing is just an excuse to leave the world behind for a bit… :wink:
nice photo you took there, it looks like the pier in hoath am i right? ive taken many good pics there and its a great location for both photograhy and having a relaxing fishing trip as i have many a time.., i think ive seen that man there in the past, maybe he enjoys the time out away from the wife and clearing the owl head.,lol
Yep vtec…you are bang on the button….and I reckon you’re right about why he likes to spend time there….just to get away from it all. I’ve always thought photography and fishing are quite similar in that way 8)
