Cathy RavenAshMember August 8, 2007 at 9:18 pm Like the shot, would enchance the colour slightly to bring out the yellow bud. PeteTheBlokeMember August 9, 2007 at 9:50 am Nice sharp shot. RobMember August 9, 2007 at 10:44 am Nice and sharp, as Pete said. I’d agree with Raven too that the yellow section could do with a little boost. Might be worth flipping the whole thing horizontally too to have the negative space to the right of the flower. Just a thought… Rob. joe_elwayParticipant August 9, 2007 at 11:26 am I’d agree with Rob on the space. The flower is angled to the right so having it look into space would seem appropriate. GoldenTicketParticipant August 14, 2007 at 7:51 pm Thanks alot for the advice on my photos will bear it in mind the next time I’m out. cathy jb7Participant August 14, 2007 at 9:55 pm Hiya Goldenticket- If you have Alan handy, I’d like you to give him a good sharp rap on the knuckles- He obviously hasn’t mentioned colour space to you- This one was posted without a profile- I agree about the saturation, a little boost would help- In these flower shots, the background is as important as the bloom, and there’s maybe a little bit of clutter there- Good one though, take lots more- they’re addictive- j Viewing 7 posts - 1 through 7 (of 7 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
