Portmarnock Strand

Hi All
Headed out to Malahide & Howth couple of Sundays back, one of the finer evnings and stoped off at Portmarnock for a while this was one of a few I managed to capture before the sun faded. C & C welcome.

I really really like this shot dude…. i’ve lived in portmarnock for so long and spent countless hours on the beach, but never managed to get a shot like that……. i’m depressed now thinking about it
Very nice shot. Like Tiny i lived in Portmarnock for years and have never managed to get a decent pictures of the beach
Really like the exposure in this and the foreground is excellent. Two things i might have tried differently would be to show more sky and also maybe try to use a lens with a longer focal length so that it would have the same foreground but it would have pulled the mid ground and Howth in the background forward into the picture.

Very nice shot Dominic. Exposure is spot on and the colours
are terrific. Would be nice to post a slightly bigger version though;
it is a little small to appreciate properly…Rob.

I’m another Portmarnock resident and i’ve never seen the beach lookin so textured and pretty. great shot!
