How’s it going?

Hello everyone,
I’ve been lurking here for a while now and I decided I might as well get into the swing of things and start posting. I’ll tell ye a little about myself to start off with, I guess.
I’ve been into photography for a few years now and bought my first DSLR, a Nikon D50 back in January 2006. In July of last year I went travelling around South East Asia for five months and then headed on to Australia for seven months, picking up a D200 along the way in Singapore. My interest grew hugely over that last year and now I’m a very keen amateur with dreams of becoming a big time professional. I’m considering doing a course of some sort in September 2008, but still not 100% sure of that. I’d kind of like to devote myself full time to a degree course over four years, but I’d be thirty one when I was finished and it might be difficult, mainly for financial reasons. Anyway, not to get too bogged down in all that crap.
I’m living in Kildare at the moment but should be back up in Dublin soon hopefully.
