My first proper film camera!!

    Hey there darkroom peeps

Maybe I’ve gone a little mad in my old age..but I received my first proper film camera today. I bought it 2nd hand from a guy on Ebay. It’s a Canon T50 with a 35-70mm and 75-200mm FD Lenses (both Canon). I know it’s a fairly basic SLR ..in fact it’s totally automatic except for focussing….AND it’s a Canon..hehe..but it came with a whole heap of filters and a dedicated flash unit and a 2xConverter AND a set of Cokin filters and mount…so pretty pleased with my purchase..

All I need now is to get some good shots with it and remember it’s not digital when I’m shooting

Hopefully be posting in here more often from now on :D

    Thanks Peter… :D

Am already having fun with it…and I haven’t even put any film in it yet. Just gotta love that chunky sound it makes when the shutter fires and the film winds on…probably scare off any wildlife within half a mile..but it sounds so cool to me…hehe!!

See ya Saturday when the fun really begins…!!

I found myself looking at the back of the camera after taking every shot – for at least the first few rolls

you will want to slow down the number of shots taken if you are on film.

i can recommend a very competitive film processing service if interested….
