My own view is that the wedding couple are over-powered by their relative size compared to the boat and the overall vista? I’m not sure that that would be acceptable to most couples, but again, it is a matter of taste. It is certainly a very dramatic background, but it totally dominates the photograph. Is this digitally created ie were the coupole inserted into the picture?
my 2 c.neilwhiteParticipantMark,
Its a great picture but I cant help thinking that the couple in it are just ruining a good landscape shot.
The couple are just too small in the pic for it to have much impact as wedding shot.
That said I love the idea behind the shot as this type of picture is much more interesting than the standard formal
wedding shots.
Just my 2 cents worth
Neiljb7ParticipantNow, you see, I just don’t get this-
or many other versions in the genre-I agree with the previous posts,
but in addition, I don’t know how their pr people allowed them to be photographed beside a beached wreck of a tub-
which strangely enough, appears to have its radar intact-How do you convince people, on their wedding day, to take that kinda time off, I wonder?
Its amazing the power a wedding photographer wields-Anyway- I’m sure they will be very happy with it,
and that they don’t notice the symbolism-
lets hope they wont end up like that boat, when the tide comes in-j
terryMemberHi Mark,
Sorry but this one doesn’t do it for me too much stormy sky and not enough couple I feel the whole athmosphere of the shot is contradictory to the event. Or maybe it’s not
TerrymarkdonParticipanti do agree that the coupe are to small now that i look at it again, good point about the wreck and the symbolism, never thougt of that one .thanks for all the comments and even though you seem not to like it,but thats why i asked!

The couple look identical…!
I agree with everything above… nothing more to add really.
snaphappyMemberthey do look the very same jay i would even go so far as to its the same moment in time just a different perspective lol
Ciaran O KeeffeParticipantIt in my opinion is the very same shot but resized copied and pasted onto the landscape and desaturated!
