STILL WATERS (great island county cork)

FuzzbubbleParticipant
Hi there and hello from ‘great island’ in county cork.
Here I was thinking I had already introduced myself…but I did not  so this is it. :arrow:My name is Nina (I spell it Nenagh) and I am 20hmhm years old (taurus) (27, yea I know still young to some, but I feel so old-my lil sis turned 14 today)
I am obviously into photography, but also like filming and music (singing, playing, listening), writing poetry and stories, nature… I am usually a very creative person. The two sentences that might describe me best are ‘ god give me patience,
but make it quick’ and ‘still waters run deep’ :) I am a very good listener and observer, quite shy and a tad complicated lol (sometimes :D ) I dont drink or smoke anymore (been there, done that!!) I dont get out much, but occasionally do enjoy ‘hitting the town’ on a saturday night with my boyfreind (if they let me in that is  …apparently I look quite young)-quite surreal when you are the only sober person-would make great photo oportunities. heheAaaanyways, back to the photography…its always been a part of my life in some shape or form. my dad and grandma have been into photography so there was always a camera around. When I was about six I did a bit of modelling. Eventually a couple of years ago it occured to me that I would love to do a photography course and really get into it myself. So, last year I started a correspondence course which I have aaaaaalomost finished. Mind you, I should probably be better at it then what I am but I have always had issues with numbers and stuff so its a bit frustrating trying to get the right f numbers, shutterspeeds… I still do a lot of aim and shoot and surprisingly that-more often than not produces better results than the ‘proper’ way lol
I think I have written way to much here, yawn, but feel free to drop me line if your still awake…chances are I will be glude to this thing overloading it with questions
:lol:Bye for now
Nenagh :)
RavenAshMembersteelydanParticipantGreat introduction Nenagh, Looks like you have a head start , when you are creative it helps with photography because you have to learn to see a good photo to begin with. You might use your creative skills to enter the Photographer of the year. Have a go and post loads of photos, dont be afraid and any advice given you can take it with a pinch of salt.
Alan RossiterParticipantHi Nenagh. Quite an introduction there.
Looking forward to more words with images soon. Have fun.
Alan.

GCPParticipantstasberMemberHi Nenagh, hmmm yes I get the picture * slow nod of the head, glazed look in the eye, “riiight” *
I lived in Cobh meself for a spell, grand ol place too, good memories. And good leg muscles too what with all the hills (they do say in Cork there’s only uphill, there’s no downhill  )Welcome on board, pitch in and have a great time. There is a somewhat disjointed (or was that dysfunctional), albeit growing, Cork contingent here. More needed!
