    Yesterday, around Dunleary-

    World Dragon Championships- Race One-
racing will continue throughout the week-

I just caught the finish on the way back from Howth-
    Couldn’t really hang around, unfortunately-
But they looked great from a distance-
and very quick on the water-

These aren’t the best pictures I’ve ever taken,
    but what the hell…
Must get there earlier next time-

First picture Shows GBR 716, Gavia Wilkinson-Cox, crossing the line to win the first race-

Love the second Joseph, but can’t help feeling that the first
needs a little more room on the left…
    Dontcha just love sails…

    Hi Jb7!

    These are wonderful!

You really captured the sense of speed and intensity!

Can feel the competitive nature of race by the compact distance at the finish..

Maybe you don’t think they are the greatest..but sometimes…it is about the moment as they’ve said here before.

    Love that you captured this.

    Thank you Sharon :D

There are great pictures to be had out there-
    unfortunately, these aren’t them-
You need a boat, and to be able to follow them-

Not that there’s any interest in sailing here,
but the boat that won the first race is now lying ninth after 3 races-

The Danish boat in the second picture is second overall,
and a Ukranian boat is leading-

The top Irish boat is in fourth place-

    Race updates daily :D
