Creating a slideshow
-
latchikoParticipant
I’d like to create a video slideshow of images. I’m sure some of you have done this before (maybe for weddings photography).
I’m looking for recommendations on software to do this.I would like to add a number of images, ideally with a timeline whereby I can synchronise the changing of images with some background music. A few basic transition effects would be nice along with the ability to export to a few video formats.
Any advice would be really appreciated!

iMovie is exactly what I’m looking for. Except for a PC.
I’ve downloaded a trial version of MySlideShow Gold, which will hopefully be able to do everything I need.
SwordieMemberHave a look at Pictures2exe from http://www.wnsoft.com
You can download a 30-day trial.
Good for slide shows of still images. Not sure about video.Tutorial can be found here:

beefParticipantHow about photostory? Tis a free offering from Microsoft (no really I promise it’s free!)…

I haven’t used it myself but it’s worth having a look….
cheers,
beef.latchikoParticipantThanks for all of the suggestions. They all look like they will do what I need so I have downloaded the trial versions of each of these and I will have a play with them this evening. Cheers!
RavenAshMemberNero 7.
I use it for slide shows with music in the backgound and you can also add video clips.
WikedMemberI used this recently at a Scout parents night to show off photos of events for the year. It’s very good, easy to use and best of all free….
Drop and drag for pictures, video, sound etc… Creates a WMV file. (Playable in most windows players)If u want to upload to the web u can convert it to a flv file – I use a free site http://www.media-convert.com
