I put this one here because it was more of a snapshot……….I was setting up for some table stuff and my little one came in and wanted a gumball……..

    that led to this

c&c if you wish…..done really for fun

You’re getting timid – this is a nice shot and far less of a snapshot
than some presented in other parts of the forum.

If I was to pick an obvious fault, it would be the slight obscuring of
your daughter’s cheek. It’s neither one thing nor the other – she’d have
been better left a bit or right a bit in my opinion.

    Thanks Pete

It was nice to pick up a camera for fun again for a moment anyway………..been so freak’n busy at work and at home I just do not have time to relax and shoot.

I agree about the cheek but the mind is a funny thing and at times it will fill the gap where the gap is void…….

Maybe if I do it again I will……………….fill the gap before it is voided

Now back to looking around at other photographs

    Thanks again

I don’t think I’ve commented on any of your pictures before-
they all seem far too personal,
and that there would be nothing to be gained from me commenting on them-

This seems to be a bit of a departure-
a bit like a stock shot-

Maybe the shot might be better if the machine was just a little higher-
or maybe not- I don’t know-

Technically, if the light was positioned a little higher,
then some of the direct reflections might not be so obvious-

Its a good plot for a shot though-
well worth playing around with more-
    different heights and lighting arrangements-

Comment away…….all shots for each photographer is personal and if they say they are not there could be a tiny fib in there somewhere………….if it be a daughter or a spider there is something gained for the shooter and the “shootee” in most cases, one or the other.

Reflections in round things are tough to get out, unless you do some posting with them. Yes the lights could be moved and the reflections could have been taken to a minimum……..

What did you mean by a stock shot……..I mean I know what a stock shot is but in your opinion is that a good thing or a bad thing…………call me wondering

Oh and thanks for commenting is that not what this place is for…………..your not gonna hurt my feelings…….

    A stock shot-
a shot to be bought off the rail-
    pr?t-?-porter-

In this case the shot could be used to describe desire,
    so near yet so far,
    I haven’t got a dime…

    and so on.

I’d say that this setup is worth taking further-
    if you wanted to-

No. 1 for me. The expression on her face is wrong in no.2 – she might have seen a spider or something.

Number one for me too Tim. With the exception of the
overlap of candy dispenser and cheek, it’s pretty much on
the money. A good stock shot as jb mentioned, and well
    worth playing around with variations…

    Rob.
