Dun Laoghaire

I’m currently trying to frame my photos as best I can and wondering what people think of the photo below.
It didn’t turn out exactly as I wanted and has at least one major fault with it, but any input would be great. So thanks for any critique!

I think you’re trying too hard to get the moon in the shot. There is too much skyline, and it’s takin away from whats interesting in the picture, namely Dun Laoghaire (or however the hell you spell it, always hated spelling that place.)

Yea way to much sky. To get the best from the image i would crop out the sky and make it a panoramic. Also a slight rotation might be in order (horizon is wonky)

    Hi, thanks for the feedback

They’re the exact same probs I saw with it. I took the photo with my arms stretched over my head and it came out all wonky but I couldn’t straighten it completely without cutting the moon out.

I figured leaving the moon in was a better idea as I felt Dun Laoghaire was too far away for it to suit a simply panaromic shot.

TBH I like sky photos and thought the moon might give me an excuse.

Do you think a simple crop to make it a panoramic shot would leave D’Laoghaire too small?
