Very Good Quality Printer?

  Hi all, I recently taken shots from a wedding, these shots are very important to me, and I would like to print them on matt photographic paper using a very good quality printer.

  If money was’nt an issue, can any of you recommend one???

  Any help would be appreciated !

  how big to do want the prints to be

  also if its just for the one set, is it not worth taking them to a lab who could print them for you

  Hi Steve, probably 8 x 10 inch, and I was thinking of using it for others shots also, not just a once off…

  the one that a of of people use is the epson r2400

  sheldon photographic, one of the site sponsors is an epson dealer, give him a shout

  Thanks, I was looking at a Canon printer yesterday (sorry forgot the model), how are these comparable to the epson’s?

  the canon printers, of which i have one are yea comparable

  the running costs seem to be more on the canon, as you also have to chnge the print head aswell as the cartidges

  in terms of price they are around the same money

  the epson 2400 is used by soooooo many photographers so you cant go wrong

  but like i say it depends on why you want to print your own pics or send them away to a lab

  Steve is right. The Epson 2400 is very highly rated. You won’t go wrong with it.
  Sheldon is the man to talk to, tell him you’re from PI and I’m sure he’ll do you a good deal ;)
