  Hi all, this is my first post in this section, I purchased a Canon ef 24-70mm F2.8 L lens last week, and went to test it out at a nearby lake, where I met this fella :)

  I’m very happy with the level of detail, and overall look to this shot
  Details: Canon 400D, Canon ef 24-70mm f2.8 L lens, ISO 400, 70mm at f4, exposure bias +1, 1/125 second exposure.
  No processing of this shot has been done at all.

  It’s not bad…

  nice simple shot, although i have to disagree about the detail, the back of the swan the detail is not there, it is slightly blown and therefore you cant quite see the feather details on the back

  Maybe looking at it again Steve, the back is a little overexposed, but overall I’m happy (and still learning)

  and as you are learning you will find yourself looking for more detail etc
