My uncle came over to visit today and brought with him his old Pentax ME SLR as a gift for my mum. Naturally I was intrigued as believe it or not I’ve never handled a film SLR before. It certainly is vastly different to my 350D but fascinating at the same time. Mam said she’ll let me borrow it which is nice :) Anybody have or had one of these before? What are they like? Is it a top of the range camera or is it the 350D of it’s time?

my first SLR was a ME Super. Defiantly not top of the range, but very well built camera. For it’s time the metering system was quite advanced. Long story, but mine needed up in the Atlantic. I’m always tempted to get another one off ebay just for sentimental reasons.
How are you getting on with it?
