Perhaps if the rose were sharper and the twig softer, also bring it more to the centre and zoom in on it. The bud in the background might be better not being cut in two.
Hi,
Welcome. On the first pic i agree with the above, you need to get closer to the rose and isolate it so that the eye naturally moves to it. You need to blur the other objects, you can do this by changing viewpoints so you are shooting from around 45? left or right from your current position. This will blur the objects which are not the same distance from your lens as the rose and allow the eye to naturally settle on the sharper rose as intended rather than the surrounding areas. If that doesn’t work or you can’t find an angle which isolates the rose, then do a little pruning ;)
I like the second one, i really like dandelions, pity they are weeds.
Also they are both a lottle noisy, were you ISO800? I’d buy a tripod if you don’t already have one and try slower shutter speed and an ISO of 100-200 if possible, which will cut down on the noise.

Its usually better to embed pictures in posts-
most people wont click on a thumbnail-
These are more like close-up than macro-
There’s a few things wrong with these- harsh light from an unhelpful direction,
movement, blown channels- and they might be better closer-
Direct sunlight can be very harsh-
just like I can be sometimes-
Sorry about that.
You’ll get used to me, the nicer ones say-
