    Hi,

Tried this over the weekend, it is very addictive.
by no means, perfect but a good start i reckon.

Not bad at all. You’ve certainly captured some good splashes.
I wonder if the background would be prettier if you raised the camera
    a bit higher?

I like them, the colours are brilliant, I like the coloured backgrounds they are very rich colours. So how did you set this up, how far were you from it and were you using the macro on the 70-300 lens?

was, very close to it about 300mm apporx, i used the 17-70 sigma lense.
the backround is only a piece of a flake advert from the paper
and i poured some ribeena in the water to get the wine colour.

Only have the on board flash so the lighting was a bit limited
as well as the max speed. I set it up at the sink so i could play with the amount
    of water going in.

It is quite hard to get the exact timing of the drops so there was plenty
    of shots that were deleted.

it is well worth a try the results can be amazing.

I love the 2nd and 3rd. Perfect timing, or was it loads and loads of shots.
I tried to do something like this a while back but it didn’t come out like this.

it is quite hit and miss, you get more shots that are
    just after the hit.
can be frustrating but great when it works
