    Hi there,
I’m new to this forum, actually I used it a couple of times before to get info on buying equipment in Dublin.
I’m Irish, living abroad, currently in Tokyo but back often, I have been snapping for years on an Olympus Mju 2 but just upgraded to an SLR when cheap digital came along.
I’m trying to take it a bit more serious now, making a bit of effort to improve.

My name is Martin O’Connor and I’m also on flickr.

    I shoot with a Canon 400D, or with a Panasonic DMC-FX01 compact.

Well if it’s cheap/light/not obtainable in Ireland you chance your arm asking.

The camera shops are amazing here. But I try to stay disciplined and when I decide that new equipment would really help my technique I look at the amazing photos produced by cheap cameras on flickr.

Welcome to site, hope you enjoy your time here. You might need a larger suit case to bring back all the cheap equipment!!!
