Wind Surfing at Garretstown Yesterday

    I found it very difficult to capture these shots between the surfers movements and the hurricane wind blowing me around.

    I was nearly heading out there myself Dave. Only ventured as far as Harbour View after.
    Lots of surfers. Was disappointed by the size of the waves though.

    First one is my fave. You got good and close to the action by the looks of it.
    Captured at the right time too. Light was very harsh yesterday also.

    I,two good shot’s but like mark says,the first is the best.

    I take it you were on the beach,you must have had a big lense on?

    Amazing Photos! First one has interesting light and an accidental bird adds extra mood. Nice editing

    I was using the Canon 100-400, that said there was great break just a little off shore and when the surfers entered the water they
    met this wave first. I only got these two because even though the surf wasn’t huge (as promised) the wind made it very difficult to
    focus.

    Hi these are fabbie, the first photo has great energy and life in it because of the light I would say! Nicely caught :-)

    Have to say the first is my fave too. The light is just right.
