Picture folders

Hi guys,
Just wondering if anybody can help. I am looking for a few different sizes of picture folders. Does anybody know of anywhere in DUblin where these can be purchased individually.

Photovalue.com supply folders, but only in boxes of 25 / 50 /100 so may not be what you are looking for.

Thanks, yep I have my own supplier but I think thats the problem. I dont really need that many I was just looking for a few, but ill google that site anyway and see what their prices are like.

might be worth looking in some of the framing or photo store, more domestic ones, they may sell them in small quantities..
Other thing is I am about to order a big bunch it depends on exactly what you want might be able to add them to my order??
This isn’t an answer to your question, although it could be if you choose to act on it. I’ve used such mounts plenty of times before and you know what? So is everybody else! So what I’ve started doing is mounting ALL my prints into window mounts complete with backing board and then popped into a plastic sleeve. It costs a little bit more to do this but the value it adds to the image is significant and I’m not just talking about monetary value. I’ve had a very positive reaction from my clients on this and it’s just good for business. People appreciate the fact that you value your own work highly enough to go to the bother of doing this with the result that they ultimately value you and your work higher too. At least give it a try.

Thanks for that. The problem is, I am getting some orders in drips and drabs and I only have the need for maybe a handfull of 6×4’s 7×5’s at the moment.
Its kinda messy because, if I knew what the total order would be then I could order but I just dont know yet and I dont want to splash out on folders that I may never use.
I might just delay a little and make a decision when all the orders come in.

Is this the kind of aggressive reply you like to post when people ask for information? Forgive me if I picked this up wrong but thats is they was it came accross to me.
There was never any question pertaining to the value that I place on my work nor the perception or quality that I want to give to my client. I merely asked did anybody know where these folders could be purchased in single quantities!
Anyway, thanks for your input and I may take it on board.

Sorry for trying to help. I was simply suggesting an alternative and giving reasons as to why it might be an alternative worth thinking about. Oh well, at least I’ll know better the next time :(
JM Photo in Inchicore supply these mounts in various sizes. I got a bunch of 5×7’s from them recently, so if you’re just looking for a few of those I can help there.

Presentation is paramount, particularly when it comes to impressing clients.Frankly, I’m astonished that anyone might interpret what you wrote as
being aggressive; one of PI’s true gentlemen…Rob.
Thorsten, can you tell me do you make your own mounts/folders and if so where do you source your materials,I’d be interested to know if you get them locally.
Just to second/third etc that thorstens suggestion is a very good one and worth considering and i too like seany would like to know if you thorsten make your own mounts and where do you get the material from?
