Nice shot Pat, the exposure is great and the colour and detail of the rocks is also very good. The only small negative is the colour of the sea seems a bit off, well that’s my opinion for whats it worth. I tried a few shots like this at the weekend and to say they won’t be appearing on here is an understatement.

A different type of landscape, i like this allot. The colours are great and how you composed it is spot on. The length of time for the exposure has captured the water perfectly

thats the level of photography I aspire to,
again and again I see why I am a member of this site…That’s a really nice shot, I love the colour of the sea and the rocks, its fabulous. Now that’s something you could definetly frame and hang on your wall.
That’s a cracking shot, Pat, lots of blurry goodness in the water and yummy texture in the rock.
Only small thing that’s bugging me is whatever that thing is in the very bottom right side corner.Wonderful image! I like colour of the rocks and the sea. Rocks have effect of “painting” imho. Looks very well here.
Good exposure and nice capture of the water movement.
But the colours seem a little too saturated.
I also wonder if a less central composition might improve this.You have the edge of a little object included in your bottom right hand corner.
You might want to clone that out.Looks like the 40D is working out well for you…when do you want me to, ahem, fix it for you? :D
I’d agree on the saturation but other than that…perfect. It’s no wonder you wanted competition in the club.

Alan, I actually took this shot last April with the KM. I had taken a load down at the Hook and thought nothing of them, but was brousing the other night and came up with this one. I’m chuffed at the response.. thanks to everyone..
