The sepia suits it well as would black and white I am sure.
I am impressed that you really drew a lot of atmosphere from such a bland sky.

This is nice. A great looking tree, it almost looks alive:-)
Suggestions wise i might tone down the sepia a small bit. Would burn in the mid tones in the sky a small bit to give it a bit more drama. But having said that its a great shot well done

Will spend another while tomorrow trying out a few more process’ and we’ll see.
Yep, agree with Martin on this one… a bit more drama in the sky and you’re onto something simple but very effective. Real barren, lonely, empty feel to this pic.
Think this is much better than the lone tree in forest.. would be nice to see it in B&W.
