Now we know what you use, now what do you prefer to shoot??

What would you classify yourself as?
I’ll keep it simple, as there is way too many variable (ie, landscape, with a bit of macro, and some portrait, and a wee bit of nature…you get the picture) so it will be what category do you enjoy shooting or just shoot the most??
Big FellaParticipantLandscape for me with a bit of wildlife and low light stuff in for good measure.

irishshaguaParticipantI can see this pole leaning heavily towards landscape. I imagine it’s what most people start off with where-as some of thm are fairly specialist.
constantineParticipantMick451ParticipantLandscapes, street photography and urban landscapes.
Prefer taking landscapes by far but just getting enough free time to do it is a pain in the ass.
Like street photography cos it’s very different and use it as a way of getting out of a landscape rut – it’s easy to just drive into town and potter about taking shots.Would love to do some proper studio portrait work, but I have no idea about how to go about that.
Was thinking about maybe contacting some actors schools or clubs/societies…has anyone tried anything like this?RobMemberI don’t mind what I shoot to be perfectly honest.
Or perhaps I just haven’t found my niche…Wildlife, portraits, landscape, macros of paperclips, Kylie Minogue nude,
it doesn’t really matter to me; it’s all about producing an image that
appeals my senses in some way. Still just fumbling around, sometimes
successfully, and even though the failures far outnumber the successes,
the successes outweigh the failures by a mile. All I want is a picture…
Rob.

stasberMembersomething like “Events” is not up there so I selected People, though I’m not much into studio work. I prefer live stuff, mostly dance and music.
I love the idea of street and reportage, as well as ethnophotography, but am decidedly crap at it. Oh well, something to practice I guess!
Brian_CParticipantSeaviewParticipantWildlife for me, followed by landscapes, sport and night photography. Of course I don’t get the time at the moment to do any.
