I’m not sure what kind of image is better. I often prefer full-colour version for landscapes but maybe b/w will be good for such shot.
This shot was taken 5 days ago. Snow melts, lol. It seems our New Year begins without snow at all. +5 C now :(lousyParticipantsean1098MemberThe original colour is great,as soon as I opened it I loved it.The conversion is nice aswell, the colour would make a lovely print.

Martin I’d like to take infrared shots too after looking your work but cannot find IR filters here.Have a look at the online shops. A “HOYA R72” filter will do the job. There not cheap though approx 70 euro for a 77mm filter. I got one a while back from http://www.komplett.ie . Think they are based in Denmark

EDIT : SORRY HAD THE WRONG FILTER NAME HAVE CORRECTED IT NOW
VAubreyMemberThank you Martin, probably I need to try on-line shops really. I never bought something on-line before.
cathaldParticipantnfl-fanParticipantLiking the colour V. Can’t beat a little snow!
I think it could do with a little CW rotation, the tree line in the background seems a tad slanted.
Did you PS the sky in the top left?
Nice pic. Well done!
PeteTheBlokeMemberI much prefer the colour one. The dead grasses in the foreground are a
lovely colour.VAubreyMembernfl-fan wrote:

Yes, I see now that rotation isn’t correct, I didn’t even notice it.
I worked with sky a bit, it was needed to add more contrast to the sky. Clouds were very pale
