You did well to keep the detail in the water pat and overall it’s another nice one from Wicklow. I suppose it’s near time to make a return trip now??

    Alan.

PS – it’s a pity the competition on the 21st isn’t based on a neighbouring county and not on your home town – you’d be doing well!

Pat you should ask Mark to change your PI name from lousyphoto to deadlyphoto :-) Nothing lousy about any of you wicklow pics

I don’t particularly like it myself as I had to sharpen maybe too much and at that I don’t think it’s 100%
Thanks for the vote of confidence pal
I recon the other two would be on for a return trip, how about yourself?????

Well done Pat, I think it’s excellent that you kept so much of the water in focus.

Nicely composed there Pat. Maybe slightly too long an exposure
for my personal taste, but well controlled at that…

    Hi Pat
Nice shot there, i’m a big fan of the blurred water shots and this one is really well composed.

i would agree with Rob though, i think it may be slightly over exposed but none the less well done!

One question also folks, i notice a lot of people posting framed photos . This is one tool i have not yet figured out how to apply to my photos.
can anyone point me in the right direction for framing, i have elements and the canon software at my disposal or should i consider an online tool.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Cheers

What I use and a few others including Pat is “Mike Brewer’s Invariant Frame” that you can find on the last link. It’s an action but I’m not sure if it’ll work with elements but there are many more on this last link that will.

    Alan.
