    Well I finally said Id give in to that longing to try out some portrait work. Wish I had someone around to point me in the right direction, but here’s what I got through trial and error, more error than not, but its all fun.. comments appreciated…

    They look good to me I like the third pic best with the lovely smile and is that pseudo infrared processing?

    If you want to learn more about lighting (the cheap clever way) have a look at the strobist group on Flickr. ( http://www.flickr.com/groups/strobist/ ) The people on there post some amazing photos and every photo has a description of the setup. It’s invaluable for learning and it is backed by a great discussion board and blog where you can learn some amazing things. Be careful though!!!! This may take up a large portion of your time and if you get sucked in a large portion of you salary!!! You have been warned.

    I like the second one best too.
