So who prefers the b&w, and who prefers colour? Comments, critisism people :lol:
Of the three shots you posted Michelle, I think this has the most potential..but I have to say I’m personally not a fan of from the hip style shooting. I think that street shots..like most other type of shots, should have a central interest and good composition. I see a lot of street stuff where people have literally just grabbed quick shots without too much thought given to composition. This shot to me is a bit too random with a bit too much going on around the central subject. Maybe if you had isolated the old lady more in the shot..less of the background more of her for example.
Sometimes you just have to take a step back and wait for a better composition to make itself obvious.
