The Black Maan

Sure, us all here in Wexford, like an’ all (poor attempt at Wexford lingo) know this point at the end of the breakwater as “The Black Man” pronounced as “da blak maan” even though it’s mostly green. I’d been looking for a B&W conversion method over the last few days to compliment this image and this is probably the best method I’ve come across for bringing the best out of the image.

So, what do yous tink, an’ all, like?

The lingo is right like
The image is too and the conv suits as you couldn’t call a green man black.
Little puffy clouds are nice, very nice altogether

2nd version is best, would dodge the bottom half to brighten it up a bit and to balance the image. Bottom half looks darker (on my work monitor anyhow)

    Nice shot
