Canon 10-22

  I just bought myself a Canon 10-22mm lens. Going to NZ next month and thought it would be the right time for it!

  Anyone have one of these? let me know what you think

  I have the Sigma 10 – 22 and I love it. I’m sure you got the best lens for your trip as it’s a super landscape lens. Hope you enjoy your trip, I’m sure you will and shoot loads and post them here for us all to look at and get jealous.

  Sigma 10-22 here too… A good wide angle is a great buy when it comes to landscapes… and in NZ there are plenty so you’ll have a ball with it!!!

  I have the Canon EF-S 10-22mm and find it great for landscape shots. Really nice and wide, so it will be great for you in NZ. Have fun.

  I also have the Canon EF-S 10-22mm. I think it’s a great lens, however I don’t use it so much as I don’t often wish to shot in its focal length range.
  If you are using it for landscapes think about getting a graduated ND filter, I missed some good opportunities on a recent trip as I didn’t have one (or a tripod to make multiple exposures).
  It’s also great for taking close-up shots of cows and other animals.

  Just out of interest, how much did you pay for the Canon 10-22.
  I know of one for sale(“nd hand, but new) and he’s looking for ?500 for it

  I have Canon 10-22 and it’s brilliant, now you will fit anything into your pictures – watch your feet :D enjoy!
